The Challenge

The Anaheim Ducks needed their Honda Center player corridor to better reflect who they are as a franchise. With a Stanley Cup championship and decades of NHL history to celebrate, the curved hallway connecting locker rooms, training areas, and the ice presented an opportunity to create a space where players could connect with that legacy every day.

The Strategy

Jack Porter teamed up with Anaheim Ducks leadership to transform the corridor into a space that connects players to franchise legacy. The design embraced bold orange against dark charcoal that honors the team’s return to their iconic logo while giving it a modern edge. Rather than fighting existing elements, we worked with them, creating a cohesive experience that turns the daily walk to the ice into a journey through Ducks history.

Path of Greatness

One side of the corridor showcases what the franchise has achieved, including the Stanley Cup championship and individual awards players have earned over the years. It's a space that reminds players of the legacy they carry every time they step onto the ice.

Locker Room Entry

The previously unmarked double doors leading to the locker room became the corridor's bold focal point. Black laminate panels, overhead lighting, and mirrored slat wall treatments create a striking entry that signals exactly what this space represents: where the team gathers and prepares.

The Impact

The transformed corridor now connects players to franchise history daily. The Ducks’ space now properly represents what they’ve built and has a clear foundation for future phases already underway.
