Project Details
Tulane University Football occupied a space that failed to reflect the program’s recent triumphs. Following a historic season and Cotton Bowl victory in 2023, it was time that the Green Wave’s facilities reflected their quality of play on the field. Using a phased approach, Tulane teamed up with Jack Porter to unleash a wave of resurgence across their football facilities.
Phase 1 of these upgrades included transforming the Wilson Center 1st and 2nd floor lobby, football offices, and football locker room. Based on feedback from the coaching staff and project partners, Jack Porter envisioned a space geared toward modernizing the dated space, so that it connected to the new aesthetic of Tulane athletics that is light, bright and maximizes the bold color palette. Throughout the space the Angry Wave’s vibrant blue and green are balanced with warm wood grain to seamlessly blend Tulane’s refreshed brand with New Orleans’ rich spirit. In the locker room, cutting-edge technology and electrifying lighting turn the team’s gear wall into an experience that is designed to fuel players’ ambition and ignite their drive.
The completion of phase I has set the stage for the future of Tulane Football by creating an experience where the spirit of New Orleans runs deep and “NOLA Built” sums up the dedicated team and their loyal fans.
