Project Details
Clemson’s Memorial Stadium is one of the most storied venues in all of college football, holding 80,000 loud and proud tiger fans each fall Saturday. The WestZone Club is a premium seating and hospitality space, which was part of a 2006 addition to the stadium. With no significant updates in over 10 years, it was time to update the overall experience. Jack Porter stepped in to work with the administration, premium seating and all the facility partners to upgrade everything from interior finishes, graphics, signage, A/V, as well as the overall layout of the space. And oh, finding ways to celebrate Clemson’s 2016 National Championship.
The goal was to create a space that was fresh and modern, but still connected with the tradition-loving crowd. Utilizing a mix of wood, metal, glass and large format graphics helped strike that balance. The updated layout allowed for easier flow through the once crowded space, which combined with all the new finishes, graphics, branding and signage, has breathed new life into a beloved space.
